MEET ZACIL (SAH-SEAL)

“I’m honored to hear people’s life stories and help them heal. Life is messy and what you bring in is what we work with. I love planting seeds of hope, assisting in learning, and witnessing clients find empowerment.”
ZACIL HA CONTRERAS

LICENSED MARRIAGE & FAMILY THERAPIST
FOUNDER & BILINGUAL CLINICIAN (ENGLISH & ESPAÑOL)
she/her
Zacil helps heal the brain, body, and soul through a variety of techniques. She evaluates what approaches may be most helpful, particularly if clients are feeling stuck. Some of these include: talking, writing exercises, art expression, meditation, and other fun and challenging techniques.

She can be described as sassy & rough around the edges, with a soft center. Most of her clients appreciate her ability to “tell it like it is” with care and empathy, while moving to a place of “and what are we going to do about it?” Working with Zacil, you will find freedom from trapped thoughts, experiences, and limiting beliefs about yourself.

Zacil received her MA in Marriage & Family Therapy from Regis University in 2016. During her program, she completed a year-long internship at Judi’s House, a highly respected bereavement center for children and their families in Denver, CO. She completed her EMDR basic training in July 2021. Her informal credentials include being a military and law enforcement spouse, mother to a spirited child, experience with postpartum depression, life transitions, and personal EMDR for trauma.
